Okui looks into\u00a0<span class=\"gmail_default\">diasporic indentities and migratory background\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<span class=\"gmail_default\">engage in conversations and performances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>In 2016, she was invited as the artist in residence for Baan Noorg\u2019s 365 Days: LIFE MUSE, model study for the Nongpo community\u2019s foreign labourers and<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"gmail_default\">is\u00a0<\/span>also a recipient of the Japan Foundation Asia Centre Fellowship Grant 2017 for her artistic research project on Migration, Mobilities and Identities in Myanmar and Japan.
