This conference seeks to engage with art and cultural practitioners and researchers in the Southeast Asian region to deepen understanding and deliberate on methodologies of working in public with people-centred processes. It aims to nurture criticality and investigate processes and structures in a constructive manner ad develop cross-sector collaborations. These panels and workshops will expand on participants’ capabilities in areas such as arts & health, holistic research, and social entrepreneurship.
This is an opportunity to gather in Bangkok, Thailand for an in-depth conversation with participants from various fields including arts, social enterprises and cultural groups, NGOs, theatre groups, students and artists.
This event and activities will inform a forthcoming publication in 2017.

Conference Early Bird Fee: USD 100/3,500 THB (This covers venue, lunch and coffee breaks, and administrative costs.)
Normal Fee (after 15 July 2016): USD 150/ 5,000 THB

Participants who wish to attend should send a short biography of not over 350 words on registration or as early as possible to ifima7@gmail.com and choose one of the following roles of participation.
As Discussant. “To live means to participate in dialogue: to ask questions…”.
As Presenter. Please provide a text and context of your presentation, with a description of processes and methodology, not exceeding 900 words. During the conference, your presentation will be limited to 15 mins. You should include discussion of a case study or project, focusing on context, intention, processes or methodology and the learning achieved.
As Respondent. You will be consulted and be assigned to a panel. During the conference, you will respond to one or more of the presentations.
Limited scholarships are available for participants from Southeast Asia. Please apply by 1 July 2016.
